Ridiculous Documentation

It's important to have standards. I'm not just talking about universal standards, such as those provided by W3C, but company-wide standards and personal standards as well. Programmers should use a consistent programming style throughout an entire project. Companies should declare and enforce guidelines for their developers to follow in order to maintain code integrity. But it's not enough to just have guidelines, the established guidelines should also, you know, make sense.
